While many believed the increasing adoption of AI may level the playing field, the reverse is true.
88% of Pioneers have increased their AI investments over the last year, compared with 62% of Investigators and Experimenters and 19% of Passives.
Interestingly, the already sophisticated Pioneers also widened their lead in their understanding of AI.
More than two-thirds, or 69%, of executives at the Pioneers said their understanding of AI increased a lot in the past year, compared with 50% for Investigators, 20% for Experimenters, and 11% for Passives.
