Developing LQ: The Leadership Quotient

Many give up before they actually start the journey. We unnecessarily take up the pressure of becoming "someone else" and it dies there. To become a leader you do not necessarily have to be a Mahatma, Mandela, Lincoln, Kalam or even Sourav Ganguly. All it requires is to try to be YOU. Unfortunately many of us are stuck with the "better syndrome" than the Best. To become better you have to compete with someone else, but to be the best you only need to compete with yourself. That's it. So why do you want to be some one else? Look hard at yourself , smile and tell yourself, "I will make this face worthwhile seeing, this voice worthwhile listening or this hands worthwhile playing something".....and then just keep chasing it till you think you " gave it all". And you know what? In the process you will "become a leader".
