It all starts with the search !!! Seeking to know yourself more, knowing yourself better. Before we get into the humdrum of knowing the organization, team and the surroundings it is important to make a prospective leader understand that he/she needs to make a significant effort to know and understand himself/herself. Our whole understanding of the universe begins and ends with knowing ourself. So any incremental improvement in this area of knowledge will help the leader to understand his/her world that much better. But unfortunately people pay little attention and time to develop this most essential mastery of leadership. As we continue to grow we almost proportinately give up the search, which we ascribe the reasons for busyness...travel and little time. In leadership, like any other personal mastery "knowing yourself "should remain at the top of agenda.It all begins here.
